This privacy policy describes how we, Dooey Limited of 4 Alyth Gardens, Glasgow, United Kingdom, G52 1LF with Company number SC519147 (hereinafter: "Dooey Limited", "we", or "us"), the data controller, collect, store and process information about individual visitors to this website.

This privacy policy only applies to websites of Dooey Limited on which this privacy policy is stored or from which reference is made to this privacy policy by means of a link (hereinafter: "website"). This privacy policy does not apply to linked websites that are not owned and controlled by Dooey Limited.

Processing of personal data and legal basis

Registration is not required for most of our services. You can therefore visit our website without telling us who you are.

We only collect and process access data that your internet browser automatically transmits to us for technical reasons in order to provide the website. Blog and Dooey Community

Within the Blog and our Community, you may be able to display personal information, share certain details, engage with others, exchange knowledge and insights, post and view relevant content. Content and data are publicly viewable. You have choices about the information on your profile. It’s your choice whether to include sensitive information on your comment and to make that sensitive information public. Please do not post or add personal data to your profile that you would not want to be available. The legal basis for the storage is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR).

Disclosure of personal data

Dooey Limited will not disclose or otherwise disseminate your personal data to third parties unless this is necessary for the performance of our services (legal basis for processing: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR), you have consented to the disclosure (legal basis for processing: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR) or the disclosure of data is permitted by relevant legal provisions.

Dooey Limited is entitled to outsource the processing of your personal data in whole or in part to external service providers who act as processors for Dooey Limited pursuant to Art. 4 No. 8 of the GDPR, within the framework of data protection law. External service providers support us, for example, in the technical operation and support of the website, data management, the provision and performance of services, marketing and website analysis, as well as the implementation and fulfilment of vigilance reporting obligations. The service providers engaged by Dooey Limited will only process your data in accordance with our instructions. Dooey Limited remains responsible for the protection of your data, which is ensured by strict contractual regulations, technical and organisational measures and additional controls by us.

Personal data may also be processed in other ways and also disclosed to third parties if we are required to do so by law - e.g. by court order or to comply with legal obligations - such as official vigilance regulations (legal basis for processing: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR) or this is necessary to support criminal or legal investigations or other legal investigations or proceedings at home or abroad or to protect legitimate interests (legal basis of processing: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR), such as the provision of joint content, products and services.

Integration Of Services And Contents Of Third Parties

We maintain online presences in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Article 6 lit. f) GDPR and in order to communicate with customers, interested parties and users who are active there. Unless otherwise stated in this policy, we process the data of users if they communicate with us within the social networks and platforms, e.g. write articles on our online presences or send us messages.

Social Media Functions and Widgets

Within our online offer, functions and widgets of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram are integrated. When you click on or use any of those functions and widgets, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. The function or widget then transmits log data to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. This log data may contain your IP address, the address of the visited websites, type and settings of the browser, date and time of the request, your usage of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram ,as well as cookies. Those may also include the display of our post, the link to our profile, the possibility to interact with the posts and functions, as well as to measure users reach (so-called conversion measurement).

Website Analytics

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer we use Google Analytics. The information generated about the use of the website by the user is usually transferred to Google and stored there.

Google will use this information on our behalf in order to evaluate the use of our website by users, to compile reports on the activities within this website and to provide us with further services associated with the use of this website and the internet. In doing so, pseudonymous user profiles of the users can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymisation. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server shortened there.

The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the online offer.
